Key words: it's not his arm!!!!!!!

the majority of the lat is in the back, but it does run into the upper arm as well....if its strained, theres a good chance of inflammation where the tendon inserts, which is on the humerus adjacent to the biceps and other muscles...so its not completely isolated from his arm, but likely it won't be a long recovery time (at least compared to surgery)....i'll bet he still goes on 15 day DL

That muscle for a pitcher, if he strained it, will be difficult for him to pitch until it heals. Likely 2-5 week recovery time, and that's coming from a doctor!

2-5 weeks is fine.

10 minutes ago, you were telling us 2012.

yes, when I thought it was his elbow. Give me some credit, I said after watching the replay again, I thought there was a slight chance it was his side.

If Andruw Jones doesn't get a hit here, he needs to be DFA'ed right after the game.

You suck ass Andruw Jones. Kenny, I have no idea what your fascination with him is, we got a solid hot streak from him back in April, but its time for him to go!

Well, the rain delay, plus Tony Pena's slow ass pitching more than 1 inning, that equals a long ass game.

Well about 5 of us thought there was a chance of that.

You were answering people in the affirmative that he blew out his elbow.

Let's just get him back in late July and we'll be fine.

ugh leadoff hit for the Angels and NO ONE is warming up.

Are you seriously a doctor?

I'm not, but I would prescribe you some kind of sedative...

Kidding Fath, you know you're one of my favs...:)

The fan who fell in Texas fell 30 meet from the upper level onto seats below.

He landed on people. 4 people were treated for minor injuries.

When the guy was taken to the hospital he was able to move his extremities and was responding to the paramedics.
