You can pretty much find the same 4-5 different concepts in every casino, just with a slightly different spin depending on the theme and price-point of the particular casino. I don't go out to the places in the casinos that often simply because it's not really feasible to spend cash like a tourist when you're a local. But I have been out and around enough entertaining friends and what not to have a pretty basic idea of what's out there. Let me know what part of the Strip you'll be staying on and what kind of plans you and your wife have and I will be happy to give you some recommendations. Depends on what you're looking for. If you are wanting a college-type feel, then Lincoln Park/Wrigleyville are littered with those types all within a couple blocks in each neighborhood. Those are ones I am familiar with (I don't particularly like the area, but that's where my friends go). Also, I have heard good thing about the Wicker Park area on Milwaukee if you are more the artsy type. Really depends what you are looking for. Just went there, it was really good. Lots of interesting food, and the menu changes pretty often. Also a good beer selection. Anyone know a good place to watch the game here in Knoxville? I'm sure Buffalo Wild Wings on the strip would have it, but I'm not sure how crowded it will be on a Friday afternoon. I have ordered take out a couple time as well. Food selection/quality hasn't been great. Beer list is intense. It looks like it's going to be more of a place to drink and order some random food if need be, but not necessarily a place to go to dinner all the time - maybe hit up dinner before it. I went to the founders brewery night and another time and left unimpressed with the food selection and they hadnt released their own beers yet. I was hoping for a local rock-bottom type place.
