Heads22
OK, in the other thread it's being discussed at length how Matt looks since he got hurt, and with his ASG performance last night......who do you want in to get the big out at ANY point out of the pen? Matt, JJ and Bobby have all been nails lately, though Matt has definitely been more erratic.
chw42
Right now, Putz. Nobody's scored off him in 20 some innings.
whitesoxfan101
For a question like this, I'll go with the guy who best combines throwing strikes and a dominant pitch. Putz has 6 walks in 34 innings, and maybe the nastiest splitter I've ever seen. So he's my pick.
GoSox05
Putz has been unreal of late, so he is the man. None are really bad choices.
justBLAZE
Putz, Thornton gets the 8th, Bobby closes it out.
greg775
Putz, Thornton gets the 8th, Bobby closes it out. Correct answer IMO.
NorthSideSox72
Its completely situational for me, so I'm not sure what the answer is.
LittleHurt05
You forgot to include Linebrink as a poll option
BigSqwert
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 03:49 PM) You forgot to include Linebrink as a poll option
chw42
How dare you leave out Randy Williams and Scott Linebrink!
SoxAce
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 02:49 PM) You forgot to include Linebrink as a poll option You are on fire today.
Quin
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 03:49 PM) You forgot to include Linebrink as a poll option I'd go Putz. He's showing signs of being his old self, then Thornton, then Bobby, then Sergio. Regardless, having 4 guys who you can call on in that situation is a blessing. Knackattack
At 100%, Thornton every time. As of right now, Putz, then Matt, then Bobby.
SouthsideDon48
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 03:48 PM) Its completely situational for me, so I'm not sure what the answer is. Agreed. If it was the 6th or 7th inning and the starter or another reliever had to be taken out, and there were baserunners, I'd actually go to Santos. Save Thornton/Putz for the 7th or 8th, then Jenks for the 9th.
soxrwhite
Jenks is still the man........Of course Linebrink........
