DukeNukeEm
http://sports.espn.go.com/newyork/mlb/news/story?id=5384499 Can Coop fix him? Possible Peavy replacement we could get on the relative cheap? How about Hudson for Joba? I'd do it, would you?
Real
It's possible (we're not in the AL east, so it would be an outer-divisional trade), but I'm not sure I'd want to give up value for a possible bust. The yankees would probably ask a lot for him if they were even considering dealing him
BearSox
I would be willing to a shot at him depending on the price, but I see the Yankees saving him to move in a bigger deal or just try and fix him by themselves. Champerlain has proven to be one of the dumbest pitchers in baseball though.
Balta1701
QUOTE (BearSox @ Jul 16, 2010 -> 01:07 AM) Champerlain has proven to be one of the dumbest pitchers in baseball though. Perfect guy to work with Cooper then. Just not happening though
chetkincaid
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 16, 2010 -> 08:24 AM) Perfect guy to work with Cooper then. Just not happening though I think this would be a better off season move. It looks like the Sox are going to be in this thing until the end, and that means a lot of pressure for Coop and the rest of the pitching staff. Coop probably needs an off season to work with and to get him fixed. But I bet Coop could fix him, and this would be a great move for next year.
