Real
QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 16, 2010 -> 08:18 PM) Most important batter of the game here. 3 runs might be too much to overcome, so have to keep them to 1. lol
fathom
QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 17, 2010 -> 02:24 AM) Pitch selection's been bad. Where's the curve? agreed, terrible inning all around. They keep trying that slider on the inner half that's not very effective against lefties.

elrockinMT
Makes you wonder what is going on with the startig pitching these last two games-Danks gave up six runs on one innings and Floyd trying to match it by giving up four so far

jphat007
We knew Dayan would have some plays like that playing 3rd up here. And we knew it'd come in a big situation or two. Sucks, but we'll be alright. Our pitchers surely don't pitch over defensive mistakes though. No biggie though. Liriano looks ON tonight.

Gavin should have been out of this inning with an easy double play. Viciedo cannot keep playing 3rd base.

fathom
All of our hitters are pulling off the ball. They need to be looking for the offspeed pitch, as Liriano's not spotting his fastball at all.
caulfield12
The White Sox have responded throughout this streak to being down and not out. This will be a big test of that theory. At least CLE isn't lying down and dying tonight. Seems like we were playing with fire with Viciedo at 3B and it came back to bite us, Gavin couldn't pitch out if it, but it's not exactly like he was knocked all over the ballpark.
