There's no defending a lot of lineups decisions Ozzie has made this year. It's like he's taken a golden shower on every piece of research about rational lineup construction ever published.

That's Ozzie in a nutshell.

The results, however, speak for themselves. He's taken a batch of s*** offensive players and leads the division with them.

Why the hell does he put back to back left handers 6 and 7? WHY?

This is the same guy who batted Mark Kotsay 5th to break the lineup up but won't do it in the 6 and 7 spots. Oh by the way, it's pretty safe to say that A.J. and Kotsay are the worst hitters in the lineup right now outside of Pierre.

Amazing what playing in a mediocre division and getting great pitching will do. That doesn't excuse making stupid lineup decisions.

Scott's really hot right now.

They already have Wieters, you can push them to take Flowers but it's back to the same thing, giving up Viciedo for Luke Scott. Pretty obviously, it won't be Danks. And if you're the Orioles, you're probably not going to take a package of players like Morel and Short (just throwing out names) over someone much closert to big league readiness.

There's no way we trade any of our top 5 for Scott, that's why I think he's a good fit. Cheap(er), versatile, and can hopefully keep Quentin healthy.

That has a lot to do with pitching more than it does anything else. There is no justifiable defense for having Kotsay on the roster in favor of a better hitter in for any reason whatsoever.

Viciedo get on the wrong plane or something?

Ozzie's hands are tied. Who would possibly dare leave Kotsay out of the lineup the way he's played this year? Talk about clutch.

The clutch he forgot to press and is why he's unable to shift out of first gear

Kotsay now 0 for his last 18 but as we just saw: he's hitting the ball right on the button.

It's unreal that he's still getting at bats. I can't stand watching him and AJ bat consecutively. Can't we just play Viciedo and Castro?
