caulfield12
Pretty amazing this would be Buehrle's first career victory in Oakland. Definitely has been a house of horrors for him, 0-6 lifetime at the Coliseum and 3-12 overall against the A's. Glad, for now, there's no need for the bullpen in this game. Have they announced whether they will use Sheets or Anderson on Sunday?

greg775
Great job by Mark. I watched the game from the third inning on. Man he was good. I read through this thread. People were freaking about CQ on that hit to right. I may be mistaken but that was a shot over his head. I think it's at least debatable whether any right fielder would have caught that one. I guess if you got an immediate amazing jump you could pull that one in. CQ had two RBIs so he more than made up for that, if indeed you thought he should have had it. I personally thought it was a true hit.
Springfield Soxfan
QUOTE (beckham15 @ Jul 23, 2010 -> 11:10 PM) i saw it here out on the east coast! Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. Seriously, it's nice to have some speed and some d off the bench right now, that is big.
Springfield Soxfan
Hawk didn't tell us that Kotsay was in an 0-19 slump and still was batting fifth, c'mon KW go get Berkman or LaRoche if the price is right.
Quin
I kept falling asleep, but caught a lot of the pitching and saw Buehrle pitched well on his anniversary.
