knightni
This year's CQ vs last year's JD. Which has been better defensively in RF? No, death is not an option.
Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE (knightni @ Jul 23, 2010 -> 02:44 PM) This year's CQ vs last year's JD. Which has been better defensively in RF? No, death is not an option. Damnit. Wow, this is tough. Whoopi Goldberg or Rosie O'Donnell? Death has to be an option in this case.
knightni
I heard a guy call into The Score last night and tell Matt Abbatacola that he wanted Dye back because he was much better in RF than Quentin.
Balta1701
UZR/150 has Quentin this year at -30.1 and JD last year at -26.1.
knightni
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 23, 2010 -> 03:52 PM) UZR/150 has Quentin this year at -30.1 and JD last year at -26.1. Balta... you know I don't speak Spanish.
Balta1701
QUOTE (knightni @ Jul 23, 2010 -> 03:54 PM) Balta... you know I don't speak Spanish. Over a full season, Quentin's D is estimated to be 4 runs worse than Dye's, with Dye being 26 runs worse than average. I doubt that "4 runs" is really significant at that level. How does greg know the number to the Score? He's from KC, right?

fathom
Give me Dye, as at least other teams respected his arm.
chw42
Even I'd have to take Dye and I used to bag on him on a daily basis.

CaliSoxFanViaSWside
QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 23, 2010 -> 03:48 PM) Glad to see Dye getting the love. He's not really . 75% of the votes are going for Q. Q reaches balls Dye couldn't dream about getting .And Dye's arm couldn't hit the broad side of Rosie O'Donnell.
bschmaranz
Quentin's better but it's a lot closer then I'd like it to be.
LittleHurt05
Quentin did look pretty good on Cust's RBI double though
greg775
I thought Cust's double was a true double. Do you all think he should have had it? Not flaming. Just asking. I thought it was a clean shot.

CaliSoxFanViaSWside
QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 23, 2010 -> 09:38 PM) I thought Cust's double was a true double. Do you all think he should have had it? Not flaming. Just asking. I thought it was a clean shot. I think it was a good hit too. Many RF's just face the wall and play it off the wall. Q went after it and it bounced past him . Still was a double since it was Cust.
greg775
I agree CaliSox, but I wasn't positive. He looked like kind of a spaz after it whacked off the wall, but I thought it was a true shot over a rightfielder's head. Side note: Alex Gordon returned tonight from minors: 0-4 with an error in right. Poor Alex. May need the proverbial change of scenery.
