3E8
No. It will probably be Torii, Ichiro, and Crawford. Two of those three will be deserving
chw42
Who cares about Gold Gloves anyways? It's not like the best fielders even get them. Edited July 24, 2010 by chw42
maggsmaggs
He's having a good year, but really he is not even one of the ten best OFs fielding-wise in the AL. I couldn't name off the top of my head ten better, but trust me here. He also has a noodle arm which is big in defense value. Good year, but not great. In fact, I would argue Alex is a better fielder than Juan and more deserving of a gold glove despite not being super great either. Balta1701
Don't they usually give the OF gold gloves to 3 CF's or at least 2 CF's and Ichiro?

But Juan is third amongst all LFers in UZR, noodle arm or not.

Jordan4life_2007
The GG officially died when Franklin Gutierrez, who had one of the most spectacular defensive seasons EVER, didn't get it last year.

LittleHurt05
The Gold Glove should have died to everyone in 1999 when Palmiero won it by playing 28 games at 1B and 128 games at DH.

Sad to say it comes down to that, but that's the way it goes.
GREEDY
Juan gobbles up fly balls like he is on the bravo network.
Jordan4life_2007
This is off-topic, but has anybody watched or caught any highlights of Tony Gwynn? That dude is a beast in CF. He's been the NL's answer to Franklin Gutierrez, who I feel is the best defensive player in baseball, this year.
Dick Allen
Pierre should never get a GG because part of OF defense is throwing, and teams take extra bases on him at will.

This. Anyone who voted Palmeiro should have immediately lost the ability to vote for the GG.
