danman31
Juan Silverio has been doing well since returning to Kannapolis. Average around .300, OPS above .800. Small sample, but either a switch went off in his head or they fixed something in his swing. Huge turnaround.
ChiliIrishHammock24
Jeremy Reed is 3/3 so far. AVG to .303. Woo! lol.
danman31
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jul 24, 2010 -> 08:26 PM) Jeremy Reed is 3/3 so far. AVG to .303. Woo! lol. Maybe he can make his long awaited White Sox debut. That would certainly be strange. Andre Rienzo 6 IP, 0 R, 10 K, 0 BB, 2 H. WOW. Shades of DLS there. Springfield Soxfan
As I've said before, Sox need to move Gilmore up to see what he can do at AA this year. He is on fire.

Springfield Soxfan
QUOTE (WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Jul 24, 2010 -> 11:03 PM) Flowers with another bad night. I've been really disappointed in him this season. Likewise, at what point does KW have to really think that he is not ready to be the catcher next year and consider signing AJ to a two year extension. GoodAsGould
QUOTE (Springfield SoxFan @ Jul 25, 2010 -> 08:04 AM) Likewise, at what point does KW have to really think that he is not ready to be the catcher next year and consider signing AJ to a two year extension. What has AJ done this season that you would want him in the everyday lineup for another 2 seasons
maggsmaggs
QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Jul 25, 2010 -> 01:01 PM) What has AJ done this season that you would want him in the everyday lineup for another 2 seasons Well, AJ has had an abnormally bad year. But he plays great defense and calls a great game. Flowers has no familiarity with the current Sox pitchers, which is huge. AJ is first in the MLB (among qualified catchers) in fielding percentage and fourth in caught stealing percentage.
