Carlos continuing to foul cookies.

He's an easy out right now because he's so off-balanced. Sox have a lot of hitters who have cooled off, so hopefully ball is jumping at the Cell this coming week. In particular, our lefty hitters are atrocious. Must be something like 6 for their last 70.

AJP is 2 for last 25

Pierre is 2 for last 22

Kotsay is 2 for last 5 seasons.

Why does AJ have a fit everytime he makes an out? Dude, you make weak contact every time you bat...

He's just a terrible hitter now. I'm not even joking when I say that Ramon Castro needs to get more ABs. I hate the f***ing "personal catcher" stuff, as it screws you out of good match-ups.

It would be working just fine if Castro was still facing LHP in addition to catching Garcia.

as bad as flowers has been at AAA, he cant be worse than AJ. at least he would have some power and walk sometimes

Actually, I think he can be. He could be Brandon Wood bad right now.

This is awful, see you guys later

If they can't put together a strong home stand in the coming week, the Sox are in a ton of trouble. 3 man rotation, 2 man bullpen, and struggling offense.

The Brewers have a scout at today's game. I doubt he's impressed. I really think Hudson will be pretty good if he ever stops walking guys.

Scouts are very rarely influenced by how a rookie pitcher's totals against major league hitters look. They're vastly more interested in what the guy is throwing.

He gets a lot of swings and misses, but he desperately needs a 3rd pitch.

As long as it's not Putz and Thornton, I don't really care. Hopefully Danks can throw a 2-hitter tomorrow night.

Jenks really, really needs to get 2 innings of work today.

Yeah let's throw liney out there for 4 innings and burn out his arm, at least we can get a little value out of the guy. Can't believe we got another year of him as well...
