I have so much more confidence in Quentin when facing righties. He has hit 16 of his 19 homers against RHP this year. He seems to struggle with high fastballs from lefties.

Quentin is at his best on pitches down in the zone.

 

A major bright spot tonight is that Garcia has shown good velocity and is pitching a good game. We needed that after a couple rought starts.

 

As I type that, Kochman smokes a double.

I know this isn't a serious post, but Ethier is nearly as bad as Quentin in the field. If the White Sox attempt to acquire a corner OF that has some chance of sticking with the club in the future I'd like one that can replace Quentin in RF.
