ChiliIrishHammock24
Very nice start for Collop. 6 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 8 K. Collop has 90 K to 21 BB in 110 IP. Very nice peripherals. Needs to cut down on the hits and runs he allows though. Edited July 30, 2010 by JoeCoolMan24

ThunderBolt
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 29, 2010 -> 09:06 PM) I wonder if Torres has been traded. Torres seems like one of the only guys who has enough value to fetch something decent and that the Sox can afford to lose. I would not be suprised. ChiliIrishHammock24
Morel now 2/3 with 2 2B.
ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 29, 2010 -> 08:06 PM) I wonder if Torres has been traded. That's what I was thinking. Torres is not a top-tier guy in our system like Flowers, Danks, Hudson, Viciedo, and Morel, but I would certainly put him as our 2nd best trading chip pitching wise. Torres himself could be a centerpiece of a smaller trade.
danman31
Holmberg got rocked. 7 runs in 2 innings. Managed 3 K and 0 BB though, go figure.
Springfield Soxfan
I was not a believer in bringing up Sale, but he seems to be doing great!
maggsmaggs
Call me skeptical. Every organization has a Carlos Torres, I seriously can't imagine he is being traded for anything of consequence. Maybe as a throw-in, but he would not be a centerpiece in any deal big or small. It could be that Hudson might be traded and they wanted Torres fresher for work this weekend.
OilCan
Sale, 2/3 of an inning, 2ks. So in 5.1 IP in Charlotte, he has 12 Ks?!?!?!?
bighurt4life
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jul 29, 2010 -> 05:46 PM) Very nice start for Collop. 6 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 6 K. Collop has 90 K to 21 BB in 110 IP. Very nice peripherals. Needs to cut down on the hits and runs he allows though. He had a very poor start to his season but has turned it around nicely in his past several starts.
danman31
Andy Wilkins hit a 2 out grand slam in the 9th to cap a 5 run 9th and tie the Voyagers' game at 8. Pretty sick.
ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (danman31 @ Jul 29, 2010 -> 11:54 PM) Andy Wilkins hit a 2 out grand slam in the 9th to cap a 5 run 9th and tie the Voyagers' game at 8. Pretty sick. 21 RBI in 19 games to start his career? Not bad. Would like to see him pushed to Kanny.

Balta1701
QUOTE (ptatc @ Jul 29, 2010 -> 11:36 PM) It could be that Hudson might be traded and they wanted Torres fresher for work this weekend. Problem is...the day you need Torres for is today. If you thought there was any chance Hudson was going to be traded before tonight, Torres shouldn't have made that start.
