BearSox
I thought you had to wait a certain amount of time before you are able to send someone down right after calling them up

JPN366
Did he pitch like I described him?
greg775
Actually, he did pitch like you described him. Good call, sir.
Jordan4life_2007
Thanks for the win. Now I never want to see you pitch for my team ever again.
SpringfieldFan
Not to assume or jinx anything, but I hope the Sox don't forget him if they wind up distributing World Series rings.
Quin
I really liked seeing him out there tonight. I watched him warm up in the BP and as he finished I yelled "Go get a win for us. Who knows, come back in September?" and he smiled. You could tell it was the night of his life.
greg775
Thanks for the win. Now I never want to see you pitch for my team ever again. That made me laugh. Good line. Isn't he a fourth round pick, though? Fourth round is pretty high. Could he be a sleeper? Kind of a guy who gets by in the bigs? A skinny LaMarr Hoyt? Milkman delivers
Thanks for that start. I don't think any of us saw him going six innings while only giving up one run. He gave us all we wanted and more.
Texsox
I was watching his pitch count and thinking he wasn't going to go four. Once he settled down a bit, things got to be fun. There were a couple heart stopping moments, like the warning shot out. It was nice to see the beer shower he received after the game. soxrwhite
I was at the game. He was shaky at first but settled down and his body language began to show some confidence. Everything the Sox do lately seems golden. Maybe this is our year!
justBLAZE
Thank you Lucas, you could have seen how excited he was, beautiful moment watching a kid having his dreams come through in front of millions.
Wedge
I was at the game last night and I'd have to say my favorite moment so far this entire season was the beer shower for the kid.
DukeNukeEm
Thanks for the win. Now I never want to see you pitch for my team ever again. Screw the guy who gave us a big game when we needed it, I want Carlos Torres to s*** the bed and give up 5 runs.
Milkman delivers
QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Aug 3, 2010 -> 07:31 PM) Screw the guy who gave us a big game when we needed it, I want Carlos Torres to s*** the bed and give up 5 runs. I don't think they could call him back up so quickly, but I agree about Torres. I can't stand p*****s who don't throw strikes.
greg775
Too bad Harrell had to get sent down after that win. After winning the opener today, it would have been interesting to see him go out there and try to win his second game in as many starts. He should have had no pressure after the Game One win and his nice win the other day. Instead we got an ineffective and maybe nervous Torres. Rout. I can't stand p*****s who don't throw strikes. Carlos Torres 110 pitches, 65 strikes, 5 walks. Lucas Harrell 98 pitches, 50 strikes, 5 walks.
