That's a battle that the Rays have an advantage in. We just have to hope that our assets fit their needs a little better.

Well, they did just trade for Chad Qualls so their list of available prospects has shortened

Good point. And i think i stand correct to my earlier point about the Rays having the true advantage. When it comes to money, which does appear to be a huge deal for the Dodgers, we do have the advantage.

Please get Dunn!! I don't want Manny.

Please get Manny. Dunn will cost us Viciedo.

With the Dodgers, this is simply a deal of how much money we're willing to take on.

He'll be a lot healthier not having to play outfeild every day.

His body has been supported and beaten up by testosterone boosts for probably a decade +. His muscle tissue/bones have to be strained like crazy.

Buster_ESPN And I think we can safely say this: Kenny Williams has officially earned the title as The Damned-The-Torpedoes-Full-Speed-Ahead GM.#trades

Buster_ESPN Just wondering: Why would the Dodgers not want to move Manny Ramirez, to shed dollars and perhaps create room for other stuff?#trades

No f'ing Manny Ramirez. He is a cancer.

We're not marrying the guy.

He's a freaking rental. A HOF RBI machine.

Put him in the middle of our lineup and watch what happens to our playoff/world-series odds in Vegas.

Not necessarily. Jason Giambi's body broke down completely after he came off the juice and it didn't matter where they put him.
