I love how there is no chance that Jackson is able to harness his stuff and turn it around.

Ill go with Cooper, KW's and my opinion.

Jackson can be fixed and hopefully he will be.

And Jackson costs a lot of money NEXT YEAR, this year he is relatively cheap. The guy has the ability, and his talent level is unquestioned.

Hes only 26, maybe a change of scenery and being in a pennant race will get him back on track.

Because Edwin Jackson sucks, costs a lot of money, and doesn't fill that need with the way he's pitching right now.

When will people understand that money isn't an issue.

Every time someone complains about money, the White Sox add more payroll.

"You can easily grab a Luke Scott, Adam LaRoche for giving up next to nothing."

Did you mean to say we could've easily gotten one of Scott/LaRoche for next to nothing? That obviously isn't the case.

Waiver Wire Trades.

August 30th.

Understand now?

Dude I'm telling you, you're not going to win this. If we had traded for Dunn and given up one of the "Prophets" (prospects) they would have criticized Kenny for giving up too much.

We're not the Yankees. 8 million dollars next year for a guy that isn't very good as your 4th starter (and giving up one of your very few prospects to acquire it) is a really bad move. If Jackson pitches well and gets us into the playoffs, then it's only just a bad move. That's the ceiling for this trade, a bad move. Which is why I don't like it.

Because it is in issue when you're not the New York Yankees. The Sox had a TON of money coming off the books when they acquired Peavy and Rios. Don't even try to pretend like this is a similar situation. Maybe KW's plan is to have Coop fix him and then turn around and deal him to fill in holes next season, I don't know. But, money is very much so an issue.

And if all these bats could be had cheaply, why didn't KW get them?

If Scott or Laroche could have been had for cheap it would have already happened so you're making no sense. And the only chance we have to get Laroche now is if the DBacks literally want nothing in return which just isn't the case.

The score said it is dead. Sox offered Jackson and flowers Nats wanted Jackson and viciedo. KW said no. Deal is off.

No surprise...Nats had no interest in Flowers after getting Ramos. Hopefully the rumors that KW actually wanted Jackson are true.

Jason Goff says Sox offered Jackson and Flowers, Rizzo said no. Rizzo wanted Jackson and Viciedo, and Kenny said no.

And everyone should be happy that he did say no.

Do you understand how waivers works?

Most likely it will be for a PTBNL with prospects going later on.
