why did torres have to start? I mean its not impossible to win a game he starts but there shouldnt have been a need for it. we already got a day saved by harrell pitching and we had yesterday off. that should have been enough time for every1 to get normal rest right?

/shrugs

i guess i'll take the split

Had no plan regarding this second game.

Is there anyone their organization that can pitch?

Detroit is as close to death imaginable and we run some clown out there.

Now watch Detroit win 10 in a row.

I was going to go home early to watch the second game.

Glad I didn't.

And I'm not very excited about Jackson tomorrow either.

Peavy really screwed us with his injuries.

Best record in baseball for a month and half and only a game ahead of the Twins.

Speaks more to how bad we were than how good we might be.

Holy overreaction Batman!!

Can we make a team rule, if your not batting .225 or higher, your not getting playing time. That means no more .217 Mark Kotsay and more .202 Andruw Jones

Thought I'd give a shout out to this particular post. It's impactful, yet kind of creative and worth reading. Much unlike the jump off the ledge, angry posts after every loss and after the lineups of the day are announced. Can't we at least have some creativity like this above poster? I liked that post a lot and had to retweet it. Excellent post IMO.

-- I'd hate to be Torres. He has no future on the mound me thinks. Did he at least pitch out of a windup this year? Didn't see the game? Or was it the annoying stretch the whole game.
