Royals revisited

Good point Jim.

This series is in the books. It's history. Time to move on.

I mean if we lose to Seattle and they beat Tampa they can pick 3 games back on us quick and next week again will be us trying to sweep to catch up.

It's one at a time, baby.

When they come to Chicago, hopefully it'll be one at a time again.

Hopefully our starting pitching will be even better next time we play KC in Chi.

I dont have to convince any of you how good Tampa Bay is playing right now. They put up a good fight in our series, and have recently swept Toronto. Im hoping they can get 2 out of 3, or sweep KC.

As far as Seattle, they are slumping right now; regardless of how they played against Detroit. Im just worried about the Sox Killers: Ichiro, Cameron, Edgar Martinez. We face Garcia tomorrow, we often gives up big runs. 2 out of 3 is acceptable with me, even if it would mean losing a game in the standings.

We have to tackle Oakland too, and this guy Harden is a f***ing stud. Chances are he will pitch in the first or second game, and we haven't faced him before.

I fully agree, doublem, that the Royals are first-half frauds. Chicago just demoralized them, exposing everything we all knew about them. Chicago is not taking anything lightly here. It's gonna be ugly for the rest of the division this point on.

Tampa Bay has been playing well. That's a fact. I hope they can keep it going against a now demoralized Royals team. Detroit can effectively pull a team out of a slump, so we'll have to see in Seattle. The fact that Stand Pat Gillick did not make any moves to counter what Oakland did, may put the M's down in the dumps a bit. Some of them were shooting off their mouth's once the trade deadline passed. Let's hope this is the case.

I for one am not about to dimiss the Royals after this series...Don't get me wrong. The sweep was great. I loved every minute of it. But they have been in 1st a majority of the year. So they still demand respect. Like said in an earlier post. We've got the Mariners comin up. They got the D-rays. Then they'll be back in Chicago with revenge on their minds. Lets take this thing 1 gm at a time right now. I notice some of u guys r crownin us division champions already. We've got a long ways to go...
