LOL GTFO!! Did Ozzie really say this? :lolhitting

lol, yea, Ozzie was "feuding" with Showalter when Showalter was the manager of the Rangers.

In fact, Ozzie used to make fun of how meticulous Showalter was when it came to managing, so he made fun of Showalter's obsession to detail by filling out a lineup card with mug shots of White Sox players and fake email addresses, and gave it to either the umpire or Showalter. lol

I can't find the article now, but I remember reading about it in either the newspaper or the White Sox website.

He already added .1 WAR in the last game, so if he keeps it up, he should be as valuable as a readily available 4A player in no time!

Well, you know how we've been playing teams at the right time lately? Quite the opposite here as the Orioles are RED HOT, having won 3 games in a row. They've swept Texas, Boston, Washington and now the Angels this season, while losing pretty much every other game; I think never winning more than 4 in a row at any point. So with the new manager, this current stretch is in the running for their most inspired ball all year.

Bergesen sucks against any team above average, but he did limit the Podsless Royals to 2 runs over 7 innings last time out; arguably one of his better starts all year. According to ESPN, 0% of people have him on their fantasy team.

The only argument for them winning this game is the new Showalter effect; not skill, reputation or fundamentals.

The Orioles are hot, plus isn't this another one of those teams we usually have trouble with?

I'd say 3 of 4 is the goal. Can we get it? Nothing's guaranteed. Why is this a four game set starting on a Friday?

And where the heck is Teahen? Isn't he ready yet?

He's hitting something like .530 at Charlotte, but they've had an offday and a rainout this week so he hasn't gotten a ton of chances.

Honestly, I wonder if they're not holding him out a little extra so that they don't have to make a roster move just yet.

Rios has been scuffling lately. I think that teams are figuring out ways to get him out.

Low and outside usually does it.

Yep! And that was what ws getting Alexei too but it appears he is making adjustments and laying off that pitch

Awww hell, if Ozzie has to play him, couldn't he at least start Kotsay in RF and put CQ in the DH slot? Christ, CQ would try going through the warehouse to catch a flyball, let Kotsay do it.
