When you took 3 of 4 from the Tigers, you better take 3 of 4 from a 36 win Orioles team.

baseball doesn't work that way to me, you take a chunk of games, such as a road trip, and decide what a good record is over that stretch, sometimes you'll beat teams and pitchers that you're shocked by and other times sucks will dominate you, as long as you do ok over a stretch, ie like this trip, 5-3 in 7 days is OK with me

There are a couple of good examples from yesterday...

I can't remember the posters name off the top of my head, but he has a pic of Alex Brown sitting down as his avatar, he is easily the one I've noticed the most who seems to float in during negative times

Anyone else having internet issues with At&t in the south suburbs? I had very sporadic internet usage during the game last night, which made Laporta's home run even more gratifying.

Laporta's was awesome for me because I was following on MLBN and they weren't showing it live, but when the scores recycled on ESPN they show the game that started first as the first score, right when I knew it was in the bottom of the inning and Twins/Indians wasn't first I knew the Tribe won!

Bored with the inevitable holier-than-thou posts that always pop uup, and the "how dare you criticize player x what kind of fam are you, they're winning" posts.

I don't see many holier than thou posts on here. The few that pop up are much better than the constant negativity on the site this season. As far as your "how dare you criticize a player?" where have you seen those posts? Players are getting bashed on here all the time.

I praise Jenks constantly but never say "how dare you criticize him."

Only guys that don't get bashed at all are Rios and Castro. Maybe Putz and Thornton as well.

I still say a split would be OK in this series. I'd love 3 of 4 but the odds of that are very slim right now after dropping Game One. Again, don't we normally play s*** vs. Baltimore? I just hope the Sox play with fire every night because with our lineup, no game is a given.
