chw42
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 8, 2010 -> 01:44 PM) Another out given away on the basepaths. At least Vizquel got to 2nd. Is there any advanced metric that measures outs recorded on the basepaths? http://palehosepariah.wordpress.com/2010/0...g-into-trouble/ EQBRR. We're not very good at base running. Soxbadger
Where did I say anything about who cares more? I merely pointed out that your argument was in fact the dumbest argument Ive seen on this board. I dont care who you are, how many games youve watched. Ive read 99% of your posts, they are for the most part self serving and trying to show the rest of us how much you know about baseball using metrics. Unfortunately I could train a monkey to read statistics and then make after the fact arguments about a player. But I dont care, lol. Thats why I went to 10-20 games the first 2 months of the season when the Sox were drawing less than 25k. How many did you go to?
Balta1701
This is the count where Rios gets thrown out stealing 2b.

Balta1701
QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 8, 2010 -> 02:47 PM) Wow Konerko...he's just giving away at bats now. He's looked flat out bad the last 2 ab's. Maybe if we rested him more, by like putting Kotsay at 1b or something.

Balta1701
Why would you run a Wrigleyville sports commercial during a Sox game? That just offended me.

lostfan
QUOTE (rafacosta @ Aug 8, 2010 -> 02:48 PM) well...the way PK is swinging in the last 2 at-bats was proly a good idea to send him. I just didn't want to see another out burned. The next good jump by a Sox player this series will be the first. Konerko kind of made that a moot point unfortunately, but I'll take the tie game. fathom
QUOTE (chw42 @ Aug 8, 2010 -> 07:58 PM) They're making this way too easy for Guthrie. Alexei seems to be in dead pull mode. His 5 infield hits this week have kept his average up, but he's been hitting fewer line drives than he had.
