SoxAce
Despite all the crap he's taken, Flowers still has a .340 OBP and a .804 OPS in AAA despite his low average. Escobar another 2 hit day. I was expecting him to hit next season with the Barons. Adjusting much quicker than I (and I'm sure even Dan and Jeff) thought. Jarrett Casey pitched 10 innings.. GoodAsGould
QUOTE (JPN366 @ Aug 13, 2010 -> 11:00 PM) Bren's boy with another clutch bomb. Hopefully in the off-season he can shorten his swing up some and become a legit prospect, seems like he'd be a nice backup catcher if he could contribute even a little with the bat. Seems to always come through in the clutch.

JPN366
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 14, 2010 -> 10:32 AM) Has he recovered at all in the 2nd half? If Tyler can hit .250 with his power and ability to draw walks, would most be happy with him starting in 2011?
Balta1701
QUOTE (JPN366 @ Aug 14, 2010 -> 12:38 PM) If Tyler can hit .250 with his power and ability to draw walks, would most be happy with him starting in 2011? If he could hit .250 in the big leagues? Absolutely. A guy like him though...I worry he'd be lucky to be a .200 hitter right now.
BrenBlackwood
QUOTE (JPN366 @ Aug 13, 2010 -> 09:00 PM) Bren's boy with another clutch bomb. OHHH how I wish this were true, it is not! The recap said it was Chase, but in all actuality, it was J.D. Ashbrook. I love Chase and I love when he does well, but I don't think he should be getting credit for J.D.'s accomplishments, neither does he. How do I go about letting someone know the recap is wrong and needs to be changed?

Chisoxfn
Phegley really has a nice offensive upside. The key question is will he be able to go get past his lifetime illness. I certainly hope so.
Balta1701
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Aug 14, 2010 -> 04:55 PM) Phegley really has a nice offensive upside. The key question is will he be able to go get past his lifetime illness. I certainly hope so. Even if he does...this has probably set him back by at least a full season if not more. Considering we need a catcher next year...that's troublesome.
