southsideirish71
Looking for Ozzies new way of bringing NL style baseball to the AL next year. Pitchers get to hit. Sure the other team has a DH, but f*** it watching sweaty freddy leg out a single will be great. He can move Kotsay over to 1st and just rattle of the wins. fathom
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Aug 19, 2010 -> 04:29 AM) Damn that Peavy injury hurt us. How so? It made Jenks tank? It caused Quentin to forget how to hit on the road?

iamshack
The thing is, we will get back in this thing somehow. There are still a lot of baseball games to be played, and the Twins will falter a bit against other teams, and we will put some bizarre winning streak together against some good teams somehow. I just can't help but think this past week is going to be the week that we look back on and wonder where it all went wrong.
daggins
It's more like "Damn that Peavy injury is going to hurt us when he is 17 million in sunk cost" Future's so bright...

Well Hawk will locate some sort of phantom to blame. The Guillen clan is already working on their theories. Ill say it now and I said it in april for some reason if quentin hits sox win. If he doesn't we loose. of course he had a different opinion just an hour ago. Its not our offense that has let us down. Left handed bat or not. Its our pitching that has let us down

I just can't help but think this past week is going to be the week that we look back on and wonder where it all went wrong. I look to April and May when we were running around with our pants around our ankles screaming at random objects. If we played just decent baseball. Then again I also look at our record in the AL Central and our recent dump we took in Baltimore. But hey, Ozzies proud. We beat up the NL. Wow at least we can take that, and the BP Cup. They were a terrible team for 2 month and an extraordinary team for 2 months. So who are the real White Sox?

southsider2k5
QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 18, 2010 -> 08:46 PM) Carlos might be the worst slider to ever live. It was productive, yet very scary. He was trying to hurt him. He got up high into his knees. It was a payback from last night.

If we win tomorrow, we're 4 games back. The Twins have won 9 of their last 10, while we've lost 8 of 10. They won't stay that hot, and we won't stay this cold. It's not over, people need to relax.
