Not watching the game but following through Soxtalk....Cowley was on the SCORE recently and was talking about AJ having to think about this season and the Dye season last year where the Sox will not offer arb and no other team a is going to take a chance on him. I think the Sox oughta really platoon him and Castro this year and see how it goes. It could make AJ better and Castro is no worse than AJ and could be better. AJ knows a steep pay cut is in order and is playing like it. He should be batting ninth.

Mauer, M-Cab and Ichiro. Those are the three guys you just know are going to kick Sox ass everytime they come to the plate.

add Inge and Mike Sweeney to that list as well. They could come out of retirement and go 3-4. The three guys you mentioned are actually good.

One of the most common themes of Sox failures at Minnesota over the last 10 years or so is that even if a Twins starting pitcher struggles, the Twins long reliever always comes in and shuts the door on the Sox while the Twins get chance after chance to get back into the game.

Who would you rather see in a White Sox uniform right now... Albert or Mauer?

Neither, both guys only play one position, which means they bring no versatility to the Sox. I'd rather have Felipe Lopez, who can play a few infield positions.
