Chisoxfn
In the recent trib article it mentions how Kenny is considering Cotts for the 5th starters spot, but is expected to go with Wright because the Mariners hit lefties much better then they do righties. So I guess its probably 90% that Wright will be back up with the big club on Saturday. I hope he does better this time at Safeco then he did in his debut start. As far Neal: Williams says he needs to work on his control, but other then that it looks like Kenny pretty much thinks Neal can get the job done. I agree with Kenny's assesment and I think if Neal is needed up here this year that he will get the job done. And until Neal is up with the Sox, I hope he continues to improve his control while working deeper into games. I'm so looking forward to having Reed and Honel up here next year...but for now I got this year on the mind

Cotts and Reed will definately be here next year. I think Everett will likely be gone and at one point in time Jeremy will become the Sox starting centerfielder. The question is what if Borchard catches fire, cause if thats the case he'll play center with Reed probably getting a full year in AAA (Couldn't hurt, especially considering he will only play half a year of AA). I guess its too hard to call right now, but your right munoz will probably be up at some point in time next year. At 21 he is still amazingly young for AAA. I just hope he doesn't go to pitch in WinterBall again, he needs a summer off to freshen up his arm.
YASNY
I'm with you, LDF, on Rauch. He should be completely healed from that arm surgery by then. I takes a full year of pitching, in most cases, for a guy to regain his previous level after surgery.

LDF
the thing that i am trying to figure out is our 2b situation in the offseason.
Capn12
How can we not give Robbie a 1 year deal, with a 2nd option year, some kind of performance based contract. The guy still wants to play, and obviously still can be considered great in the field. We don't have anyone jawdropping in the minors ready, so lets keep him. Cali
Maybe Kenny will consider Cotts again, after a few more 54 footers from Danny. I wonder if it was anybody else but the M's -- the hitting Lefty's thing -- if Cotts would have gotten the call. Because if control is the only thing that held Cotts back, why is Danny getting the call? Danny's control right now probably isn't that much better than Neal's. He's a far cry from the 14 game winner he was last year, and he even had 12 losses.
YASNY
Danny Wright is the smart choice here. Cotts very well may be ready, but Danny's been here and this is a pennant race.

Well, personally...I'm for loyalty..so if I can get Robbie back here at a decent price, then that leaves the money that it would cost for Vidro to resign other parts of this team, your CLees, Buehrles, etc...Don't get me wrong, Vidro is a talent, but I have no problem at all having Robbie patrolling second base at the age of 36. Keep the team intact, sans Everett, Roleplayer White, and maybe Jose...but only lose Jose if we can get a nicer name in here at SS...which probably won't happen. That's why I'm saying "after danny throws some more 54 Footers." If he get's rocked against Seattle, and whoever he starts against after that, than Kenny should maybe consider Cotts.
