whitesoxfan99
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 04:46 PM) I didn't really see that at all. I saw Harrell as lucky that he had a ball that wasn't two feet up the middle. Harrell came very close to giving up a grand slam in the 2nd inning as well that might have knocked him out of the game. Milkman delivers
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 04:46 PM) I didn't really see that at all. I saw Harrell as lucky that he had a ball that wasn't two feet up the middle. I don't get why you think it was so similar, anyway. Torres gave up more than twice as many hits as Harrell did. hitlesswonder
QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 11:28 AM) Didn't the Tribune article say that KW went as far as to show the text messages he got from Ozzie to prove they didn't believe they needed another reliever? Ugh, I'm so sick of the bulls*** between the GM and Manager. Yeah, I missed that part. I agree it's ridiculous that this is a story. I've enjoyed Ozzie's tenure as manager but it's too bad he has a year left on his contract.
BigSqwert
So will both Putz and Thornton be available late next week presuming they're healthy?
southsider2k5
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Aug 28, 2010 -> 11:33 AM) So will both Putz and Thornton be available late next week presuming they're healthy? I think Thornton will be back something like 5 days earlier because he was able to be backdated to the DL, whereas Putz had just thrown the day before. The Ginger Kid
praise the lord! cst_sox Good news on Thornton - he threw a bullpen session today, felt great and will be ready for Boston series. Simulated game on Wed. is likely.
