Jackson averaging 11 K's and 2 BB's per start now with the Sox. Once again, Don Cooper's contribution, a very simple one. He got Jackson to stand more upright, thus creating more downward plane and action on his pitches. Quentin with a season like Beckham's 2009 at USCF, 7/24 HR's on the road. This is what I found confusing. We are in a pennant race and get a .300 plus hitter and not use him when we only have about 30 some games to play. Every game he isn't in there puts us at risk of wasting that hitter.
