NorthSideSox72
QUOTE (danman31 @ Sep 2, 2010 -> 04:04 PM) Knights @ Norfolk 6:15 Torres Carolina @ Barons 7:05 Lowe Dash won 11-0 Serafin Intimidators @ Delmarva 6:05 Rienzo Voyagers @ Helena 8:05 Upchurch Serafin threw 6 shutout innings, but his peripherals are still horrible. He went from a more than 2:1 K:BB in A- to a less than 1:1 in A+. Interesting that Leesman did the exact same thing when promoted to A+ for this year, then he suddenly got good at AA. Serafin isn't that level of prospect, but you do almost have to wonder if the two lefties were working on the same thing. And what that thing was. Alternately, Serafin just may have hit his wall at A+, and not be good enough to go further.

maggsmaggs
QUOTE (CSF @ Sep 2, 2010 -> 08:08 PM) 6 IP, 1 R, 5 H, 1 BB, 9 K's for Rienzo. His peripherals are simple outstanding. But before I anoint a top prospect, he needs to perform at a more age-appropriate level. But he is very intriguing.

Certainly if he was 20 and doing that in A ball it would be more impressive, but this is also only his second year in American pro ball. They seem to be taking their time with him, and that's fine. Not old, but a possible concern.
