chw42
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 5, 2010 -> 03:10 PM) Really wish Buehrle was out of this game. Just have a bad feeling that he's bound to let Martinez get one up by the monster. Thornton has Ortiz if it gets that far.

chw42
So uh, why was Buehrle in there at 118 pitches? I didn't know he was up that high until that pitch to Martinez.
fathom
120 pitches, falling behind everyone, being bailed out by defense = GET HIM THE f*** OUT OF THE GAME!

nitetrain8601
=[ Just weren't destined to win this game with Manny on the bench, Ozzie managing, our hitters being 3 for 15 with RISP, and Buehrle still pitching.

This is the major problem of having a manager who doesn't care about statistics. While they are not always the end all be all, they tell you a hell of a lot.
