Thome might really help them this postseason. He couldn't help the Dodgers much just as a pinch hitter. But he figures to really help the Twinks in the postseason being a veteran big bat. Fuentes has a back problem and has only pitched the day he reported to the team when he got the save. There is still hope, but a sweep next week is almost becoming necessary. Any more slip ups before that series and the Sox not taking all 3 probably woud be curtains. Hopefully they can breeze today and vs. KC. Maybe they draft guys who already have a good grasp on how to play the game. They are better at winning baseball games than the Sox. The Sox have a habit of losing to teams they should beat.
