hogan873
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 7, 2010 -> 02:04 PM) Teahen is 4/29 career against Verlander. Man...there's no way to win this one is there. Can Castro play 1b? He's at least 1/3 career against him. Probably, but with our luck he'd get hurt.
ChiSox_Sonix
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 7, 2010 -> 03:02 PM) Is Teahen that much of a liability at 1st? Before seeing that both suck against Verlander, I would have actually preferred Kotsay against a pitcher like Verlander. At least he's batting 8th. BigEdWalsh
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 7, 2010 -> 12:00 PM) (Kotsay, of course, is 2/17 career against him). That was a very productive 2-17 though.

elrockinMT
On paper this is agood match up for Freddie against the Tigers. He has am awesome winning record. But, no matter we can't cry about a loss when it happens even in this tight race when we have gone 7-0 on the road trip so far and the Twinkies are playing at home But, I have confidence in Freddie

greg775
Having Paulie and Beckham hurt devastates the lineup. Would be nice if Teahen could start earning some of the healthy bucks he makes. If ever the team needed a spark from him it is NOW.
