Crowd booing....13 hits allowed by Jackson. Once again, he hasn't been the same since we abused his arm two weeks ago.

You are not a TRUE Sox fan if you can boo a pitcher that's pitched so well for us. Undeserved. Just like some calling to trade Danks/Gavin. Where have you been? Certainly not watching gutty performances with little support or defense. Do those guys complain? They know this is a TEAM SPORT...some days you pick up the team...some days they pick up you. Glad we have Edwin!!

Crowd is booing the overall performance of this team, not just Jackson. As for Jackson, it's hard to really gauge what we have with him. He's faced a lot of weak hitting teams, and it's important his next start is a quality one.

QUOTE (11and1 @ Sep 11, 2010 -> 10:53 PM)
Then you must like to lose.

Kotsay is no prize--not by any stretch of the imagination.

But Teahen is disastrously ill-equipped, and more importantly, a jinx.

And I don't really believe in jinxes.....much.

Over on another thread re Teahen someone posted our record with him in the game, and it sucks. He was not "directly" responsible for many of these losses; his mere prescence is enough to cost us games.

Our miracle second half turnaround did not start until Teahen went on the DL. Ozzie wisely!?! benched him upon his return, and he was not in the lineup for the winning part of the last road trip. His performance against Detroit speaks for itself.

Kotsay, by contrast, is just sort of...there. He doesn't help us nearly as much as he should, but losing is not automatic with him in the lineup.

Don't believe in the jinx? Teahen still stinks.

Not everyone agrees, but I still believe this is KW's worst signing ever. Most of the other candidates did not have the direct effect on a possible pennant that Teahen has, and he is now untradeable without choking down a big part of his ridiculous three year contract.

I think everyone agrees Kotsay stinks.

But some people are not admitting Teahen stinks, which baffles me.

Teahen is just not very good.

5 mill a year? What a great life.

This is not a flame but a question.

Are Juan Pierre and Omar a good enough 1-2 punch for a playoff team?

In other words can a team make the playoffs with those 2 guys in a major league lineup?

They are good, but are they good enough??

Nope...it's the American League, you can't just play for one run, and having Vizquel batting after Pierre is basically admitting that's your philosophy. Hopefully Beckham can rebound and bat 2nd next year.

Well, looks like Juan is ready for season to end. Average is falling down quickly. Disappointing start and end to his season, he needs to be more consistent next season for this team to have a prayer in the AL Central. After reading about how much money Tigers have to spend this offseason, they have potential to have a scary good roster.

Paging Don Cooper you smug arrogant piece of s***, your pitching staff forgot how to throw a baseball LOL

Haha, I love it. He really is a POS when in the media. Hopefully Pena is not brought back next season, as he's awful! I wonder if Chris Wrongey is still telling Sox fans that our pitching is better than the Twins?

Can we all agree the White Sox aren't built to beat teams in their own division?

Sox need to work on that for the future.

I can't believe it's just a couple weeks from the offseason again.

This was one of the most annoying seasons in my Sox fandom for some reason.

The Sox aren't built to win in the American League! It was obvious before the season, and it's even more obvious now. If you want to work on that for the future, then you should hope your boy Ozzie goes and manages the Marlins.

Then KW and CO. need to find another profession. Because we sure as hell ain't built to beat the Yankees, Rays, healthy Red Sox or Rangers.

Edit: Angels will be right back in the thick of things with the return of a healthy Morales and Haren for a full year.
