soxsoxsoxsox
I thought we'd at least put up a fight on this homestand. Looks like our bats cooled off at the worst time, along with our pitching. I really wanted the Minnesota games to matter. Oh well guess you can hope Minnesota loses again tonight. At this point tho it's kinda stupid cuz we're playing so terrible.
kitekrazy
QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 11, 2010 -> 08:40 PM) Can we all agree the White Sox aren't built to beat teams in their own division? Sox need to work on that for the future. I can't believe it's just a couple weeks from the offseason again. This was one of the most annoying seasons in my Sox fandom for some reason. Face it the Sox pitching staff has been a paper tiger. Jackson was due for a bad start. JR needs to think things over. Mediocrity is getting expensive (common among all Chicago teams). A lot of money has been thrown around to finish in 2nd place. Put those $$$ in scouting.
Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ Sep 11, 2010 -> 09:02 PM) I suppose Castro and Flowers could handle the position about as well as Jamie Burke and Ben Davis did. You just made my point. Flowers has been dog s*** ever since he was promoted to AAA last year. He's done nothing to justify even a part-time gig at this point. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 11, 2010 -> 09:03 PM) Then what are the Sox options at catcher if AJ is gone? I have no idea what the FA market for catchers is. Hopefully we can upgrade from A.J. Wouldn't be surprised if we had to bring him back out of desperation (much like trading for Pierre).

Troy Tulowitzki has that many in the last week. Edited September 12, 2010 by Jordan4life

greg775
The season may not be over by any stretch, but we just might lose 2 of 3 at home to KC as alleged contenders. BigSqwert
Maybe GM Hahn can sign someone from Minnesota or Colorado's strength and conditioning crew next season.
