MHizzle85
QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 11, 2010 -> 09:20 PM) Orton vs. Sheamus? I like it strictly for the fact that it's something new & I can't call who they're gonna put over. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 11, 2010 -> 09:23 PM) As long as Sheamus goes away soon thereafter Eh, I read somewhere that the current plans for 'Mania are Sheamus/HHH for the title. Being HHH's workout buddy is quite the career boost it seems.

I liked watching Sheamus flinch when Tyson moved last night. Even if it was a work, it looked like a real flinch. I wouldnt want to be talking smack to Tyson in any setting, you never know if he will snap
iWiN4PreP
I am all for new fresh feuds / wrestlers. Sheamus so far is cool, I have not seen him wrestle yet - but hes good on the mic, good look (very different then normal), and offers new matches, so of course I welcome it. Orton also is one of the guy who I enjoy (not mark out for, but I feel is ok). I just think hes been in this same situation to long. It just gets stale (if he ever faces HHH again I will puke). So glad Cena didn't win. Also, anyone notice Ortons extreme pissed off at kofi this past monday? Very interesting. Kofi to get demoted now? lol. Orton yells "STUPID STUPID" "GOD -F*CKING DAMINT" during the match. As far as Austin goes - it's useless, I dont care, These guest hosts are whack, they offer very little purpose, just put a normal GM there and have that go. It can't be that hard to get one good GM for a little. Let Regal do it or something. These guest hosts are just killing the show (along with alot of other things ). I am enjoying Sheamus, I have to say. He was kind of quick-pushed, but that's okay. Like you said, he offers new matchups, and that's been desperately needed for a while now. Plus, he doesn't bore me on the mic. I read an interview with Eric Bischoff and he was asked his list of 5 wrestlers he'd like to steal from WWE. His list: Randy Orton, Randy Orton, Randy Orton, Randy Orton and Randy Orton. I have been far less than impressed with Kofi Kingston. Boring as hell on the mic and doesn't keep me tuned in while wrestling. I flip back to the NHL on Versus when he comes out. I'm looking forward to the Rock and Austin for no other reason than the fact that they know how to talk. Same with Bret - they know how to speak to a wrestling crowd in a live situation. The guest host thing is something Vince loves - entertainment-show blurbs or "ESPN moments" at the expense of his primary TV show. I'd love Regal as permanent GM. And yeah, Kofi hasn't lived up to his potential, failed push :S I was hoping Kofi would take off. I think he is very good in the ring and obviously very athletic. The one promo he cut on Orton with the car was really good I thought. Too bad it has been downhill since. And nobody can blame it on Orton for beating him. God forbid a top heel comes out on top in an angle for once.
T R U
I also am sick of the DX/Guest Host happy endings, but its a family program now.. My little sister absolutely loves DX, and her and my mom find most of everything that happens on Raw to be funny, and they are tuned in every monday watching.. buying PPVs, Merchandise, going to live events.. Of course, we don't like it and that's understandable.. but were still watching, as well as all of the families that they have added since changing the way things were.. And ill be honest, I like watching wrestling with my mom and sister.. I would feel a little uncomfortable watching it with them as Mae Young gives birth to a hand or Edge and Lita are having sex in the middle of the ring.. God forbid a top heel comes out on top in an angle for once. I disagree. How are you supposed to get behind a guy when he consistently loses and then he barely talks to tell you why he wants another shot. How else did Orton get built - by putting him over guys and letting him talk about it. And it took forever once Orton was built up to REbuild him once they killed him by jobbing him to HHH the first time around.

The Critic
Unfortunately, "The Band" and Bubba The Dull came on and put my TV to sleep. The Band??? That's the best you can come up with? The Critic
QUOTE (CryptviLL @ Jan 14, 2010 -> 08:33 PM) The band is a poor name, but hopeflly it leads to something decent to put over some talent I'd be more optimistic if they seemed even a little interested. I'd like to see more matches like The Guns vs Generation Me and less time wasted watching Nash talk in his sleep and Hall slur his way through a segment. I expected Hogan to get his buddies paid, but I'm not liking what The Buddy System has produced so far (Bischoff excluded from the criticism, of course - he's been great).
