Randy Orton attacked by fan in South Africa

A WWE event in South Africa turned scary on Tuesday, when a crazed fan stormed the ring and attacked wrestling superstar Randy Orton from behind

The incident took place at the WWE’s live event in Cape Town, South Africa, TMZ reports. As Orton entered the ring and played to the crowd, an unruly fan rushed into the ring and punched the 33-year-old in the groin, briefly knocking him to the canvas. A WWE fan managed to capture a video of the unprovoked attack.

In the video, Orton can be seen standing on one of the ring’s turnbuckles, with his back to the fan. The fan then sneaks up behind Orton, striking him in the groin and drawing stunned reactions from the Cape Town crowd. Security quickly knocked the crazed man to the ground and out of the ring, but not before Orton retaliated by attempting to kick the man in the head.

After the attack, a WWE official confirmed to TMZ that the fan’s interference was not a scheduled part of the show. The WWE addressed the incident Tuesday in a statement posted to the company’s official website.

Cena having surgery on his elbow after SS looks like Bryan or RKO winning by cashing in Money in the Bank briefcase scenario.

I started predicting last week that Orton cashes in on either one and becomes Vince's new corporate champion. Suited Orton returns.

Ordering tonight.

2nd biggest show of the year and you have no Orton match, although he could cash in. No Ryback, no Shield except pre show. No IC title match, and 2 diva matches.

The top 2 matches and Sandow-Rhodes is enough for me to watch, pretty excited about the event. As for the Shield, I'm sure they'll end up facing Henry and Show.

Total BS that Bryan got screwed out of the belt crowd was really into him winning tonight. I am sick of HHH being in every angle, I knew when HHH hung around ring for 5 minutes RKO was coming out.

It just makes more sense to have Bryan chasing the title while Cena gets his elbow fixed.. Although I very much enjoyed Cena losing clean..

Actually tonight's deal was to set up HHH/VKM power struggle angle leading to WM 30.

I don't know, it seemed like HHH did exactly what Vince wanted him to do. Vince has been talking about how he doesn't think Bryan is that good and worthy of being WWE Champion.

Idk about that, VKM got what he wanted so I feel a Orton "Corporate" Champ angle goin on. Which makes sense since Orton doesn't really have any charisma on his own.

Really hope the Punk/Brock fued continues since it doesn't make much sense for Brock to win and disappear. Holy hell did that match deliver though. MOTY so far by a wide margin in my book.

Speaking of MOTY, I hear Cesaro and Zane or Sane or whatever(still Generico to me) had a 2/3 falls match in NXT that is supposed to be amazing. Seeing these guys go as much as I have on the indy circuit I certainly buy it. My bro says it should be on NXT next week.

Ya I like Bryan as much as anyone but this made a lot of sense. The most over guys by far(cena, punk, Bryan, Orton) were all faces, you needed a big heel turn and this made sense.

Anywho I thought that was a great ppv. Punk-lesnar was fantastic, Bryan-cena was very good and Christian-del rio delivered as well.

Pretty sure Seth Rollins f***ed his knee up

Sin Cara is such a cluster f***. Just release him.

RVD will put over Del Rio before his 420 hiatus.
