The first few episodes of Modern Family this season weren't that funny. I think it's been a lot better the last few weeks.

last night's was a bit of a dud......besides the fact that the daughter just gets hotter and hotter

Ty is all muscle, no endurance.

No CT on the previews. You know he won't be on til near the end. I'm guessing you have to compete against him in the Gulag as a challenge or something and it will be disappointing.

I'm so glad Ty is gone. Dude was literally done. I found Abe's interview mocking how much those abs helped him out to be entirely enjoyable.

I will say it's time for me to fess up and say that I'm a bit disappointed in this SOA season. It's been entirely enjoyable, of course, but certainly not up to par. So much of it is unbelievable... like Jax could sit next to the man who knows where his kid is and not go ballistic is totally unbelievable. All this bulls*** they are doing in Ireland is just dumb, and for the love of God the Gemma storylines have been unbearable.

Add to that the BS going on back in Charming, and it's just a frustrating season. I want to see some good old gun running and porn operations back in Charming with a dose of drug-stopping.

And now we have to deal with Tara being abducted, let alone the unbelievable storyline of her boss caring about her after she beat her ass.

It's just been a letdown. I still love it, and look forward to it, but it's a letdown this year.

I can't argue any of your points, the only thing I can say is that at least there's action every week. They definitely had to take them out of Charming for awhile though, if they stayed there every season the show wouldn't last long. They are taking for granted that the audience gives a s*** about Tara and whether she gets abducted, the new recruits in Charming look like high school kids that get picked on and the Able storyline has been old since the second week. With all that being said, it is my favorite show going right now (sitting next to The League).

I don't know, this season hasn't really kept me interested at all. Now that Boardwalk Empire, Survivor, and Dexter are on I am having a hard time finding time to watch Sons, and it hasn't bothered me where last season it would have. I actually defended the slow story lines a few weeks back in this thread, but its getting to the point where something has to happen soon.

yeah Boardwalk Empire turned into something special to watch. Sons is on Tuesday and I got nothing else to watch that day regardless. As long as people continue to die via explosion/gunfire it will rank high in my book. I'm simple like that...

I laugh every time I think of Survivor now, I saw a comedian the other day and his bit was about Survivor. He was like, think about it, no wonder why everybody hates America. We have a TV show where you can win a million dollars if you can tolerate living in a place where people already live. I'm sure you'd have to hear it from him to find it as funny as I did.

I think we agree on all of that (as I already said most of it :P ), except the part about Jax not losing it with the priest. I don't care how distraught he or anybody is, you wouldn't touch an IRA underboss in his hideout in his home country.

Boardwalk Empire and Dexter have both jumped in front of SOA for me this season. But like someone said, it's on a Tuesday so there's not much else to watch.

That was the worst Office episode of the entire series, holy god.

I didn't think it was too bad. I laughed enough to consider it a decent episode. Michael's behavior was a bit odd (not the jumping on the bus to Mexico, that's vintage Michael, but the way he was very concerned with the way people were acting at the reception).

I agree that it is a good show but the Gemma and Tara thing are tired storylines....the boss thing interests me. Still a good show but I think it is only good for another season.

I'm not sure if you're agreeing with me or not due to the phrasing, but I've been saying that for weeks.
