southsider2k5
QUOTE (lostfan @ Nov 23, 2010 -> 10:33 PM) Do something about Shannon Brown in three point land, please. Rose just gets lost in a good screen. Under, over, or through.
SoxFan1
Do the Bulls EVER come out and play to start the 2nd half. My God. And of course, the Lakers getting the benefit of just about every call.
kev211
QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Nov 23, 2010 -> 11:06 PM) Do the Bulls EVER come out and play to start the 2nd half. My God. And of course, the Lakers getting the benefit of just about every call. This is starting to get really annoying.
kev211
Rose is so fun to watch, and the world agrees this is the 2nd game in a row that Derrick Rose is trending worldwide on twitter.
SoxFan1
Honestly, even I never thought Rose would be this good. He's one of the envy's of the league right now. His combination of size, speed, strength, body control, finesse, touch, athleticism, and ball handling is unmatched. He's making the Lakers look absolutely silly. SoxFan1
That's just stupid. Gotta close out on the shooters. What is that, 4 straight 3's? Brown, Blake, Barnes, and Blake again? Of course it started on the no-call on Noah down low.

flippedoutpunk
bulls with a nice string of stops against the lakers in crunch time.. too bad they couldnt turn them all into points.
sircaffey
Would have been nice if Korver could hit a shot tonight. 10 total bench points for the Bulls. It'll be nice to have Taj coming off the bench soon.
SoxFan1
I'm very anxious to see how the Bulls play when Boozer comes back. If he gels right in and is Carlos Boozer, the Bulls could be the best team in the East. Still, I'd love to find a shooting guard upgrade somehow. Quin
God I can't wait for Boozer. We went toe-to-toe with the Lakers for most of a game without him. We need a second sniper though, for nights like this when Korver is off.

Balta1701
QUOTE (lostfan @ Nov 23, 2010 -> 09:20 PM) The NBA having a lockout doesn't necessarily mean they're going to miss games. If it gets to the point that the doors lock, I'd be surprised if there were any meetings between the lockout starting and the start of training camp. If the owners don't get what they want, they're going to try to break the union again, and they know that the players aren't good enough at saving their money to survive not having regular paychecks. Felix
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Nov 24, 2010 -> 12:11 AM) God I can't wait for Boozer. We went toe-to-toe with the Lakers for most of a game without him. We need a second sniper though, for nights like this when Korver is off. The Timberwolves played the Lakers closer than the Bulls in L.A. And we were missing Luke Ridnour, Martell Webster, Wayne Ellington and Jonny Flynn (all of whom might not be great players, but are far better than the alternatives that were in the game instead.. Mo Ager? Lazar Hayward? Sebastian Telfair?). Just saying. Edited November 24, 2010 by Felix

And we were missing Luke Ridnour, Martell Webster, Wayne Ellington and Jonny Flynn (all of whom might not be great players, but are far better than the alternatives that were in the game instead.. Unless it's possible for a good team to play down to the level of its opponent sometimes.
Felix
I'd say a better thing to draw from this is that you can't really tell anything conclusively about one game.
Balta1701
QUOTE (Felix @ Nov 24, 2010 -> 09:01 AM) I'd say a better thing to draw from this is that you can't really tell anything conclusively about one game. I'd grant you that too. Still though, it's nice to see the Bulls hang with the champs. The problem though continues to bee the same problem the Bulls have dealt with most of the year; back court defense. And that's not something that is going to improve when Boozer returns.
