Did Utah offer Boozer the same contract the Bulls did?

Otherwise i don't get the boos

Well if so, that means he turned down that deal to join another team for the same salary, so no wonder they're booing him for that (and also because he sucked so many times in the playoffs against the Lakers probably).

Williams turned the ball over twice in about 30 seconds and fouls Rose. Bulls in good shape to possibly win this one.

Oop, make that three turnovers in a minute. That's game.

Batum defendes Rose's defense.

Surprisingly, Rose plays Dwill and CP3 back to back. Rose really owned DWill down the stretch tonight. If he can do the same to CP3, I expect the best PG in the league debate to heat up again soon.

IIRC, D-Will really shouldn't be playing with that wrist injury of his right now, but that team is just bad without him.

My guess is, he'll be bolting to greener pastures in 2012 FA.

Guarantee this if Sloan is let go.

No, the Jazz had no intention of offering Boozer the same sort of contract the Bulls did.

I was in work in SLC last year and went to a Jazz/Nuggets game, trust me, they really hate him there. Even when he was on the Jazz, people were even wearing T-shirts promoting a website to run Boozer out of Utah, I think many of the Booooooz were actually Boooooos

Bulls talking to Rockets about Courtney Lee....again

Courtney Lee is just not that good. He is no way a difference maker. Why do we need to make a trade just for the sake of making a trade? And I like Asik's future a ton, so I would definitely say no to trading him for Lee.

I kind of agree but Courtney Lee does not get a lot of playing time because of a crowded backcourt, he got some good minutes in his last game and dropped 23, he is still pretty young and hasn't been put in a situation where he can really succeed yet. Lee, just like Asik, is still very young and can get better. I think there might be a reason why he was a centerpiece for the Magic to get Vince Carter (when Vince was actually putting up some damn good numbers). He's not someone that is going to lead the team in scoring every night, but he's kinda like a shotting guard version of Josh Howard, comes into the league as a defender first but his scoring is still up and coming.

I don't like the idea of trading Asik for Lee. I think Lee is a lot overrated and Asik has some nice potential. Bigs like that don't grow on trees. He can rebound and play some solid defense and will be very valuable coming off the bench for the next few years.

I think our best move out there is a deal for Melo centered around Taj & Deng (w/Deng going to another team for expirings which go back to Denver) plus draft picks. I think teams have noticed what Deng is doing and I think the Bulls can afford to move both of them if it means getting Melo back.

I still can't figure out why this move hasn't happened yet...unless Carmelo has made it clear he won't immediately sign an extension in Chicago. That's a better offer than anyone else has had on the table since the Netropolitans pulled out.

Something I keep hearing is that the Nuggets want Landry Fields to be a big part of the Melo to Knicks trade. I might be Landry's biggest fan, but players like him are a dime a dozen. Kinda like Bulls fans who begged the Bulls not to get rid of Taj last offseason.

Taj is incredibly valuable in this league. He's a big who can play well above average defense and has some decent offensive potential. Not many of those guys in the league. And he can play D on both C's and PF's.

It is why we are talking about potentially moving him in a Carmelo deal.

1) Melo will only extend with the Knicks. He is in charge of his future and his future involves him playing for the Knicks next season.

2) The Nuggets have ZERO interest in Deng. As well as Deng has played, I do not believe there is much interest in him around the league. The best option was to get Andre Iguodala involved, but the way the Sixers are playing they aren't going to do a 3-way involving him anymore.

I think the Bulls are just laying quietly in the weeds. Denver has insisted on Noah and I think the Bulls hope when push comes to shove they'll bite and go for the Taj plus expirings deal. The key is going to be who is willing to take Deng and I think the Clippers might be a potential candidate in that sweepstakes. Put Deng with Gordon and Griffin and DeAndre and that is a pretty nice 4 out of 5 starters.

He's valuable in the sense of if you get him in a trade for Courtney Lee, you think your team won. However, I just don't see these role players being able to get you Carmelo Anthony. Let's not forget that Taj is old for a 2nd year player, so it's not like he's someone like D. Favors where you can project him adding a lot of strength due to being 18 years old.
