Real
QUOTE (Felix @ May 2, 2011 -> 09:28 PM) This one's over. LOL it was over when the Bulls bought into their own hype wagon. I love how all the analysts predicting a 5-game series are gonna get thoroughly owned

Felix
QUOTE (G&T @ May 2, 2011 -> 09:29 PM) Hawks shot 51%. That's a giant clover up their ass. They were 21-3 in the regular season when they shot 50% or better.
chw42
Rose had zero free throws. I guess that's what happens when the other team doesn't try to kill you every time you drive into the lane.
Felix
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ May 2, 2011 -> 09:32 PM) Did someone throw something on the court? Yep. No idea what it was, but it was right at the end of the game. The ref picked it up after the buzzer went.

chw42
QUOTE (Real @ May 2, 2011 -> 09:33 PM) how bad is rose hurt btw? turned the game off a long time ago Not terrible, but it was the same ankle he tweaked before. You'd think his ankle would be fine after a whole week's worth of rest.
Felix
QUOTE (chw42 @ May 2, 2011 -> 09:34 PM) So the good news is that this only happens about 30% of the time. Only did it once against Orlando in the first round, too. Seems unlikely to happen again.
mmmmmbeeer
QUOTE (chw42 @ May 2, 2011 -> 08:33 PM) Rose had zero free throws. I guess that's what happens when the other team doesn't try to kill you every time you drive into the lane. Unbelievable that he didn't make it to the line. Inexcusable, really, for the league MVP to not draw a single foul all game. I hope he plans on actually playing in the rest of this series or we're screwed. Felix
QUOTE (chw42 @ May 2, 2011 -> 09:33 PM) Rose had zero free throws. I guess that's what happens when the other team doesn't try to kill you every time you drive into the lane. Hawks played great defense on Rose tonight. They went under screens and dared him to shoot the outside shot, which really stopped him from going to the rim as much as he should. They were happy to give him that shot, which he hasn't hit consistently all season long and has been dreadful at in the postseason.
chw42
The Bulls really let this one get away when Thibbs put the bench mob out there to start the 4th. The team was already starting to lose some gas at the end of the third after they took a 6 point lead. You'd think Thibbs would have started out the 4th with the foot on the accelerator and played his starters.
chw42
QUOTE (Felix @ May 2, 2011 -> 09:41 PM) Hawks played great defense on Rose tonight. They went under screens and dared him to shoot the outside shot, which really stopped him from going to the rim as much as he should. They were happy to give him that shot, which he hasn't hit consistently all season long and has been dreadful at in the postseason. He didn't have the mid-range shot today either. Rose also seemed reluctant to go with scoops and hard finishes at the rim. A lot of push shots from him today. Edited May 3, 2011 by chw42

chw42
Kyle Korver was a +17 today in 16 minutes. Bogans played some decent D on Johnson for a stretch, but it speaks volumes how good the Bulls were when Korver was on the floor tonight.
