Balta1701
QUOTE (Felix @ May 24, 2011 -> 11:00 PM) How does this make any sense? Chicago is a large market that would draw well in the finals, and the idea that the refs are rigging it for Miami so the series would end earlier is just moronic. If anything, the refs would want Chicago to win tonight, so the series goes longer. The NBA is all about the stars. This series isn't highly rated because of the cities. Felix
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 24, 2011 -> 10:01 PM) The NBA is all about the stars. This series isn't highly rated because of the cities. And the MVP of the league wouldn't draw? I mean, I'm sure Miami would probably outdraw Chicago, but it's not as though the NBA would prefer a short series as opposed to a drawn out 7-game nailbiter. Felix
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 24, 2011 -> 10:02 PM) Was that 8 seconds?? Are you talking about bringing the ball up the court? Because the clock doesn't start until it's touched, and it wasn't touched until halfcourt.

Soxbadger
Felix, which is why the bulls need to pressure the ball because that reduces the amount of time miami has by a good 5 seconds. (just said your name so my ocmment made sense)

zenryan
QUOTE (Felix @ May 24, 2011 -> 11:00 PM) How does this make any sense? Chicago is a large market that would draw well in the finals, and the idea that the refs are rigging it for Miami so the series would end earlier is just moronic. If anything, the refs would want Chicago to win tonight, so the series goes longer. No, the NBA wants Lebron in the finals. Chicago may be a bigger tv market but Miami would get more of the casual fans watching. And the refs would want Miami to win so they can get to 3 wins and almost assure them of being in the Finals. You let Miami get to 3-1, have Chicago win game 5 and let Miami finish it off in 6.
