Just thinking out loud but the probable starting lineup for the Eastern Conference all star team is just absurd as far as talent and athleticism are concerned.

True. I'd rank the '96 East all-stars of Hill/Penny [many have totally forgotten how good those two were before all the injuries], Jordan, Pippen and Orlando Shaq as the best starting 5 I've seen for an all-star game in regards to talent/athleticism.

With Rose, Wade and LeBron, they all can go a combine 120 inches in the air. That's just three players. Throw in Dwight Howard and we'll say Amare, and that's between 180-200 inches in the air. Insane!

Well yeah, though I don't think Wade and especially Amare have 40 inch verticals. But there's a heck of a whole lot more to athleticism then your vertical.

I'd say Wade's 36. LeBron has 44 inches. Dwight has 39.5 inch vertical. Amare is the lowman around 33-34 inches.

Worst performance in a while by us against the Pistons, T-Mac turned back the clock in the 1st Q.

SVG will have this team working on nothing but the defense until the playoffs arrive, as it just hasn't been as good since the trade was made. If Troy Murphy gets bought out by the Nets, we'll be all over him as the backup C to replace Gortat.

Good thing Derrick's getting to the line now. If he wasn't doing that, he'd be in a real slump points-wise.

Derrick Rose says in locker room his back is killing him. Bulls have three days off before playing Orlando on Fri.

Rick Reilly with a apology to chicago piece on Rose.

I tend to dislike Reilly, but I must admit, that was a pretty good piece. I particularly liked the story about Rose stopping to thank those fans for coming out to the game. Are you kidding me? How often do superstars do that? That's just one more reason why Derrick Rose is special.

'Bachelor' Contestant Michelle Money slept with married Carlos Boozer

Life & Style can exclusively reveal that Bachelor contestant Michelle Money, had an affair with NBA star Carlos Boozer - while he was married. Opening up about the scandal for the first time, Michelle tells Life & Style, "Yes, I was in a relationship with Carlos while he was still married. What I did was wrong."

Michelle, actress and single mother to 5-year-old daughter Brielle, has quickly established herself as one of the most controversial contestant's the show has ever seen. In her quest to win Brad Womack's heart, her aggressive antics - like storming off the set and forcibly dragging Brad away from other women - have angered and upset many of her fellow housemates. But off-camera, her personal life is even more shocking.

When Michelle first met Carlos, she was a recent divorcee living in Salt Lake City, and he was a star forward on the Utah Jazz. Michelle implies that Carlos led her to believe he had separated - though he didn't file for divorce until March 2009, while he and Michelle were involved. Michelle tells Life & Style she regrets any part she played in Carlos' split from wife Cece. "I should never have been so naive to assume what I was told was true," Michelle says now. "I'm not trying to shy away from the fact that he was still married. I don't put that on Carlos. I don't put that on anyone but myself. I feel terrible for Cece for that pain she's had to go through and that I am a part of it."

Despite Carlos' split with his wife, he and Michelle ended things in June 2009. "All I can do," Michelle says, "is try to do better with my life. I screwed up. But I can only try to do the best I can."

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jan 26, 2011 -> 06:12 PM)
Bulls ranked #3 in the NBA in value according to Forbes at $511 million. Also according to Forbes, JR and his buddies made over $50 million in profit for at least the 4th year in a row.

What sucks is the moment JR is ready to pay the luxury tax (player legitimately worth building around) it may no longer exist.

Nope, Kevin Love sucks.

He's up 3-0 in 30/20 games on the rest of the NBA. Your move, NBA.

Oh, and for those that said something along the lines of Love never winning a game for you (Steve maybe? I don't remember all the stupid that gets said in here): he had 21 and 11 in the second half tonight, including 14 and 5 in the fourth quarter. 9-for-14 shooting, including 2-for-2 from three in the second half as a whole. Yeah, the Timberwolves lost, but this wasn't a case of Kevin Love not putting his team on his shoulders. It was a case of the rest of the team not doing their part.
