Halloween Costumes?

I'm struggling real hard this year to come up with a costume because mine the last 2 years have been so damn good. It's actually starting to drive me crazy.

What's everyone else going as?

For the last several years Halloween has been all about the kids and making sure they have fun. Prior to that, my girlfriend/fiance'/wife and I had a multi-year string of winning the best costume awards at our friends' Halloween parties until we were finally outright banned from entering the competitions.

Halloween has always been a very serious matter at Casa de FlaSoxx.

Haven't done this in quite a while. It's time to pull this on a new group of people!

Putting a black kettle strapped around my neck filled up with bars of "DIAL" soap with a sign that says "What am I? and $10.00 bill for the winner.

The answer that I reveal at the end of the day if no one guesses is.........

I'm a "CROCK-A-DIAL!"

At my school everyone is in costume on Friday. I will not be in a costume, instead I will be in correct Native American medicine man regalia.

Our school system doesn't allow the kids to dress up anymore. It's not so bad for my older two as they are in 7th and 9th grade. But my youngest is only in 3rd.

Hell I remember dressing up at school in 10th grade. I also remember going out trick-or-treating with my friends when I was 15 or 16. I guess once you start driving, you're probably too old to go out trick-or-treating though.

I'm going as Dexter, and my wife is going as Debra. I know, they are siblings on the show. However, the actors are married in real-life so f*** it. Incest night.

My Dexter getup is pretty money. Plus I grew out a shaded beard and made exact replicas of their Miami-Metro IDs.

I am disappointed in myself this year as well. I've had such great costumes the last 3 years and I just couldn't come up with something great this year to top it.

My freshman year I was the doll from Saw, Soph year we went as a group as the Alltel commercial guys (I was Sprint), and last year, I pulled off the most epic Mugatu costume the planet has ever seen.

This year I'm going to be Al Borland. I thought long and hard about Old Gregg, but I just don't know that enough people will know it and that I can actually do it.

It's sad. I don't think we dressed up for school when I was a kid, but we came home, got in our (home-made) costumes and started Trick-or-Treating immediately. One trip through the neighborhood wasn't enough, so we'd go home, eat dinner really fast, bust out the cork, burn it, and use it to become "bums" for costume number 2. Then we'd hit the streets for round 2.

Now, my kids' school and our church are doing trunk-or-treating. Pull a bunch of cars into the lot and have the adults pass out candy. Lame.

My house is one of two in the neighborhood that have a big Halloween display. A few (maybe 10) others have a few decorations. The rest are dark. It sucks being a kid today.

I had a friend that was old greg 3 or 4 years ago. It was awesome. He had baileys to drink out of a shoe.

That is gay as hell. It really must suck being a kid today.

Just about 10 years ago when I was in elementary school we would have a school parade around the school grounds with everyone dressed in their costumes and the parents would line up aroudn the school grounds taking pictures of the kids as they walked by and would cheer when their kid's class walked by.
