Iwritecode
QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Oct 27, 2010 -> 03:32 PM) That is gay as hell. It really must suck being a kid today. It's gotten more popular the last few years. There are 3 or 4 places near me that do it.

SoxFan1
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Oct 27, 2010 -> 01:21 AM) I'm struggling real hard this year to come up with a costume because mine the last 2 years have been so damn good. It's actually starting to drive me crazy. What's everyone else going as? Here's a good option, especially if you have a friend: Jonny Quest and Hadji. dasox24
QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Oct 27, 2010 -> 02:41 PM) Just about 10 years ago when I was in elementary school we would have a school parade around the school grounds with everyone dressed in their costumes and the parents would line up aroudn the school grounds taking pictures of the kids as they walked by and would cheer when their kid's class walked by. Yep, we did the same thing at my elementary school. Always a fun time to see what everyone dressed up as.
NorthSideSox72
I went as a Cubs fan last year. I am now using the Cubs t-shirt as a cleaning rag.

Everyone who knows me, knows I'm a big Sox fan. Same with my wife. So, we bought some cheap Cubs shirts and hats, and went to a party like that. My costume should work out very well, but I'm being someone that I know, so it's useless to explain it to anyone on Soxtalk.
Rowand44
QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Oct 28, 2010 -> 11:24 AM) My costume should work out very well, but I'm being someone that I know, so it's useless to explain it to anyone on Soxtalk. I did that a few years ago, our whole group of friends dressed up as a different member of the group, it was hysterical. So far all I got this year is a sweet hat and funny pants. I'm struggling big time.
Milkman delivers
Scratch that. I'm going as Vijio Morganstein instead.
Rowand44
Since I couldn't think of anything good whatsoever this year, I just decided to make fun of LeBron James with my costume. At least I'll get joy out of doing that.
Milkman delivers
I guarantee there will be at least 10 people at each party with a Favre jersey on and a dildo hanging out of their pants.

We had a conversation about this last night. You have to be wearing crocs, too, as that is apparently what he was wearing in the picture. ChiliIrishHammock24
One night stand. Went out w/ it last night, going out again tonight. Everyone loves it, and often people want to take pics w/ me.

Quin
I had a crappy Solid Snake costume and was the Grim Reaper at a haunted house. We did not get one single trick or treater. The only people walking on our street were 3 adults with a baby in no costumes. It was depressing. Just eight years ago I remember trick or treating and people being in elaborate costumes. Heck, even the schools celebrated, now...nothing.

Go to Champaign and you'll see a very different Halloween than that, but then again I wouldnt bring my kids (if I had some) within 20 miles of Champaign on Halloween weekend. It's a 4 night celebration.
