Balta1701 Posted February 16, 2011 Share Posted February 16, 2011 Trainer Herm Schneider and his staff won't require any overtime hours during the White Sox's early workouts for pitchers and catchers starting Thursday at Camelback Ranch. Unlike past years, no position player has required medical permission from Major League Baseball to report early. In past years, Carlos Quentin's wrist and Scott Podsednik's groin garnered special medical attention, but the Sox appear to be relatively-injury free. The only major exception is pitcher Jake Peavy, whose MRI on his right shoulder is scheduled to be examined by the Sox's medical staff this week. A more detailed schedule for Peavy's rehabilitation will be determined after the MRI is examined. The Sox will hold their first full squad workout on Feb. 22.
