bigruss
QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Nov 10, 2010 -> 04:55 PM) It's a free Baseball America post. Sure wish we signed him. From everything I heard the Sox sure tried to. But Goodwin knew his stock would be higher and was a heavy commit.
Jordan4life_2007
Yeah, I was disappointed (hardly surprised) that we couldn't net him. But I can't get too mad. Him going to NC was pretty much a foregone conclusion. And he's not the kinda talent you're going to severely overpay for anyway. Now Austin Wilson? Man I wanted him. Chisoxfn
I was actually impressed after I heard about how much of an effort the Sox made to get him. We knew when he was drafted that he was pretty much a lock to go to UNC. Kid has a ton of talent.
