greg775
Wow, this is all boiling up toward revolution. If this bill passes won't there be riots immediately? The gap between 1 percenters and those about to go broke and be homeless when they have one serious hospital stay grows every day.
Heads22
I mean, everyone is making every effort to make sure the ACA has no shot, and insurers are citing the lack of support from the government as well, so no matter what, everything is a mess
greg775
Tell us there's movement to not approve the bill. Healthcare needs to go more toward the socialistic Bernie side of things; less toward Sir Donald's side of things. Healthcare should not turn normal Americans from middle class to homeless following one unfortunate illness!

TrumpVerified account @realDonaldTrump Jun 7 Getting ready to leave for Cincinnati, in the GREAT STATE of OHIO, to meet with ObamaCare victims and talk Healthcare & also Infrastructure! The Dems aren't EVER going to work with the admin until there is basically zero choice to save the ACA. Right now, they're not even close to that point, and might never be again after this week. Not only that, but how insulting for the Senate to have 13 in their work committee (I think there must be one woman, maybe Collins) on the AHCA and not even make an attempt to reach across the aisle to Democrats? Very true. If this new plan goes through, the next Democratic nominee may win every state except Kansas which would vote for a Republican if his name was (fill in the blank with name of any despicable human being alive or dead). It's true. Brownback won re-election cause of that R. Single payer will rule in next election cycle. Edited June 12, 2017 by greg775

bmags
This is going to pass and nobody has any idea what's in it. StrangeSox
Did the same this morning. Was really dismayed when I heard Sen. Murray pushing back against the idea of pulling out all the stops to oppose this thing. Every hour they hold up business in the Senate is an hour they don't have to pass this atrocity. That they did this to "work with" Republicans to tack on some dumb Russia sanctions bill to an already bad Iran sanctions bill is just so frustrating. Going to impact 1/6th of the economy, throw tens of millions off of insurance and do it without a single hearing or mark-up session. All to give millionaires and billionaires a trillion dollar tax cut and set up even bigger tax cuts down the road.
