knightni
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Aug 10, 2011 -> 08:31 PM) Knight - Was that a tweet from a reporter or just your thoughts? Just my inuition. Al Davis is going to try to re-leverage a new stadium out of the Bay Area first.
cabiness42
As I previously stated you wont be getting the Jaguars. Here is an article about why the Jags cant move: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/387483-...l-advised-lease As I speculated there is a lease agreement that makes it very difficult to move. So you are looking at over $60mil in exit costs, as wel as having to demonstrate that the Jaguars lost money for 3 straight years. I understand that it's costly to move the Jags, but they are the team that has the least fan support, so they need to be the ones who go. The NFL needs to come up with a creative offer to the city of Jacksonville to get them to agree to a lower buyout. Offer them a Super Bowl if they agree to it and make it clear that they will never have another one if they don't. Offer to have the combine or winter meetings or something like that there a few times. Realignment is a pretty easy fix as well. Jaguars move to NFC West, Rams move to NFC South, Panthers move to AFC South.

Offer to have the combine or winter meetings or something like that there a few times. The "you'll never get another super bowl" threat isn't a very strong one, they're not going back to Jacksonville after the last one.
