Unless I am missing something here, Jim Miller holds the record for most passing yards in a game with 422 in 1999 (yes I looked it up, call me a cheater), and he did not exactly win the Heisman.

That's correct. 1940 White Sox no-hit by Bob Feller on Opening Day.
