bighurt4life
Sox pass in the MLB portion. I missed the first few picks so not sure who was taken by other teams. Josh Rodriguez a SS from the Indians AAA team was taken first by the Pirates. Edited December 9, 2010 by bighurt4life

bighurt4life
Baltimore selected RHP Jacob Rasner from us, I think he played in Winston Salem.
bighurt4life
Sox passed in AA phase. Pretty boring, we lost 3 guys and brought back none and they're cheap too, only 12,500 for a guy in the minor league phase. Maybe KW was serious when he said the team was tapped out as far as spending on players. Edited December 9, 2010 by bighurt4life
Heads22
Mildly surprised we didn't bring in a RP.

southsider2k5
QUOTE (Heads22 @ Dec 9, 2010 -> 08:41 AM) Mildly surprised we didn't bring in a RP. Me too. I honestly expected them to take a shot on a raw live arm for the last guy in the pen.
elrockinMT
There must not have been anyone eligible in the Rule V draft that we could use. Raw arms, etc, don't equate to filling an immediate need. My understanding of this draft is they have to make the ML roster or be offered back is that right? ThunderBolt
I try not to get too excited about this. The Sox never do anything here.

JPN366
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Dec 9, 2010 -> 10:33 AM) Closed the AAP threads for Mollenhauer, Rasner and Brooks. Dale Mollenhauer was a good guy and worked hard all year to improve, wish him well. Jake Rasner flopped in B'ham and was demoted mid year, no loss. Ricky Brooks is injury prone and has the most disturbingly thin ankles I've ever seen.

JPN366
QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 9, 2010 -> 05:23 PM) Hey, you don't get insider info from BA like THAT! I see what I see, I pass it along. Mollenhauer will also be losing his hair soon. Chris Getz sounds like Barry White. Oneli Perez has 12 fingers. Aaron Poreda was shy. Miguel Negron has naturally orange hair, he's Puerto Rican. Greg Paiml is stupid. Tim Bittner and Cole Armstrong have serious phlegm problems. Tyler Kuhn is actually about 5'7". C.J. Retherford has one leg that is shorter than the other. Gio Gonzalez helped people in the parking lot jump start their car. Cory Aldridge has to have been on steroids. I could go on... Im a bit interested in why you feel Paiml is so intellectually challenged.
