Heads22
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/dodgers/20...ery-injury.html When word reached the Dodgers that Manny Ramirez underwent surgery this off-season, club officials were surprised, saying they knew nothing of a groin injury that the aging outfielder claimed he had for most of the year. Well, according to his agent, Ramirez didn’t know about it, either.

Steve9347
What great timing for such a story! Hey everyone! Manny wasn't Manny because he was injured even though he didn't know it! Come give him money!!!
southsider2k5
Too bad he didn't go to Sweden for the surgery...
Balta1701
Assuming this report is accurate for a moment...this also tells me that Manroid is in a condition right now where he's regularly playing through so many injuries that he can't even tell when something serious has happened. southsider2k5
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 10, 2010 -> 12:21 PM) Assuming this report is accurate for a moment...this also tells me that Manroid is in a condition right now where he's regularly playing through so many injuries that he can't even tell when something serious has happened. That is a mighty big assumption that rests on Scott Borass telling the truth.

soxrwhite
Why us? How do the White Sox seem to get involved in so many bizarre stories? Why us? Just lucky I guess.

Shamrock4Life
Maybe Herm got is diagnosed yet the Sox still felt they had a better shot at the division with Manny than without him. The report just says the Dodgers were unaware.
witesoxfan
QUOTE (Shamrock4Life @ Dec 14, 2010 -> 07:04 PM) Maybe Herm got is diagnosed yet the Sox still felt they had a better shot at the division with Manny than without him. The report just says the Dodgers were unaware. Well if the Dodgers were unaware, that would make the White Sox unaware too because they would have had no other reason to believe he had a groin injury. kwolf68
I guess we know one place a former Pravda worker ended up; being ManRam's agent.
